Cliveden Conservation is an award-winning company and one of the country’s leading experts for the conservation of stone, terracotta, plaster, wall paintings and the decorative arts. The company was originally founded in 1982 for the preservation of the National Trust buildings and statuary. Since then Cliveden Conservation has grown and now operates three workshops strategically placed to provide nationwide and international coverage. Each workshop has a trained team of conservators (some of which are ICON accredited) who undertake high quality practical conservation as well as providing project management, advisory and consultancy. 

Cliveden Conservation offers an impressive range of remedial and preventative conservation skills to meet the requirements of a variety of clients. The company has carried out several prestigious projects and has worked with the National Trust, Historic England, Historic Royal Places and Oxford University. Cliveden Conservation are regularly appointed by local authorities, architects, specialist contractors, museums and private trusts for the surveying and conservation of external and internal architectural features, historic objects, monuments and statuary.
